Transportation - Free Parking!

Metro-operated parking lots are free on weekends and most federal holidays. SmarTrip cards with full parking fee are the only accepted form of payment for parking (except metered parking). Visit the Trip Planner at MetroOpensDoors.com or call 202-637-7000 (TTY 202-638-3780).

Once you get to King Street Station, just hop on one of the FREE DASH shuttles to all First Night venues! Check your program or the on-line map to see bus routes.

Thanks go to Colonial Parking for making many garages in Alexandria FREE to First Night attendees who brought their cars. Check the map for specific locations.

Thanks go to the City of Alexandria for making its garage at City Hall FREE to First Night attendees on December 31.

And finally, thanks to the many men and women of Alexandria Transit who will drive the buses, put up the signs and take them down again so folks can have FREE DASH bus service on December 31.
